Children's Fables
Prevencionario
Prevencionario
Prevencionario is an educational initiative that uses illustrated children’s fables as a tool to prevent different forms of violence affecting children and adolescents.
Through creative stories, engaging characters, and situations adapted to children’s language and understanding, the initiative addresses complex issues in a simple and accessible way. It aims to help children identify potentially risky situations, understand their rights, strengthen their self-esteem, and develop essential skills to protect themselves.
The collection addresses a range of issues, including sexual violence, domestic violence, human trafficking and smuggling, as well as risks associated with the digital environment, including online grooming and the dangers of social media.
The project promotes the use of these fables in educational and family settings, complemented by participatory activities and educational materials designed to reinforce learning, encourage open dialogue, and help create safe and protective environments for children.
