This past November, our president Daniela Valdivia was among a select group of 76 leaders from nonprofit organizations across the Americas invited to participate in the American Express Leadership Academy held in New York City.
Over four intensive days, Daniela had the opportunity to exchange experiences, strengthen skills, and explore new leadership strategies alongside prominent figures from the social and business sectors. The program featured conferences, workshops, and panel discussions with distinguished leaders, including Mark Tatum (NBA), Stacey Allaster C.C. (USTA), Jim VandeHei (Axios), Jennifer Chick (Hilton), and César Rincón Mateus (Delta Air Lines).
Organized by American Express and supported by Hilton, Delta Air Lines, and the NBA Foundation, the Academy focused on three key pillars for 21st-century leadership: resilience, purpose, and transformative capacity.
Daniela’s participation in this experience is not only a recognition of her professional trajectory, but also strengthens our institutional commitment to continue innovating, inspiring, and leading initiatives that create a positive impact in our communities.
